Middlesbrough Rugby Club extends its profound commiserations and consolation to the family, friends and colleagues of Tony McNally.

We were informed by the YRFU that Tony, the President of Yorkshire Rugby, passed suddenly on Monday, 22 March.

Tony was a good friend to MRUFC and visited Acklam Park several times last season. He presented us with the Regional North 2 trophy and returned to present his President’s Award to Jan Coyne, Ann Waddington and Glenis Wright.

He will be missed.
