The 150 celebrations started off with a bang on Saturday 10th September with a family touch rugby event taking place prior to the 1st XV game against Northern.

Despite the grim weather, over 30 participants braved the rain to play some recreational touch rugby.

Amongst the participants were representatives from all the age groups within the club. A number of familiar names associated with the Boro were present including representatives from the Richardsons, Pollards, Johnsons and Gardiners.

It was the perfect start to our anniversary year. This was the first of the planned events designed to allow all our members the chance to enjoy our birthday celebrations. A huge thank you to everyone who attended. The event was such a success we hope to hold another similar event later this year.
