An invitation to women over 17 years old to come to Middlesbrough Rugby Union Football Club this spring and have a go at rugby.

We are running a 6 weeks introduction to rugby program at MRUFC. It is a senior women’s session, open to all women aged 17 years and over. The idea is to come and enjoy 6 hour long training sessions, every Wednesday starting on May 29th 2024. The sessions will be on from 6.30 to 7.30pm. They are open to complete beginners, as well as women with some playing experience. The sessions will be non-contact in the first instance, and we will work on improving our skills and fitness to see if we can move on to forming a side in this rapidly expanding sector of rugby union. The total experience costs £20 per player. This includes a ‘bororugby’ Women’s Rugby T-shirt, the six sessions, and a barbecue with drinks session at the end of the 6 weeks. If you want more information, or to come along and join us, just call text or WhatsApp Emily on 07767 813988.

As we build our teams up, more information will be located here.
